Morocco ranks as the 15th aerospace base in the world, and 8th country in terms of Investments in aeronautics. It host more than 100 companies, with majors OEM established such as SAFRAN Group, Stelia, Bombardier, Boeing, UTC, SAFRAN, Thales, Zodiac Aerospace, Eaton, Alcoa, and many well referenced SME’s.
The cost-competitive conditions and governmental incentives allowed for the booming of this industry with leading-edge capabilities and capacity to deliver highly complex added-valued equipment.
The Industrial Acceleration plan and the signature with Boeing for a historical contract to attract more than 120 suppliers in Morocco represent a major opportunity to companies based in Europe and seeking new outsourcing or investing opportunities.

DNV GL - Business Assurance, Singapore: Moving ASD Industry certification mindset from process to business risks/opportunities approach

The growing risks/opportunities orientation into the new generation of ASD industry’s managing standards (ISO/EN-AS) is directly connected with today’s concerns and stakes.
In the past, risks and opportunities approach were intended to manage the processes performance, these are now considered as leverage to improve and support business performance.
In this workshop, we will introduce how risks and opportunities can be assessed in a certification audit with the DNV GL “Risk Based approach”.
We will also describe how the risks and opportunities approach combined.
